The N-Strike Elite Hyperfire Blaster is really easy to control, with an acceleration button/trigger to 'fire it up' and then a trigger to shoot. Just press the button in front of the trigger while pulling the drum down, and it drops out with very little resistance, so it won’t be a problem even for younger kids.

Nerf brand blasters, alternative-brands, modifications, community made designs, competitive wars, Humans vs. While this is not on par with the Rival Range, it is noticeably better than other flywheelers like the RapidStrike or Stryfe. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. Unpacking the Hyperfire you will find, the blaster itself, a 25 round drum and 25 darts to feed into the drum.

Personalised advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information under California and other state privacy laws, and you may have a right to opt out. However, the Hyperfire doesn’t initially cost as much as you might expect, considering it’s the fastest-firing NERF yet – and the foam-fizzing fun it promises will make that extra expense seem worthwhile. We’ve already got one Nerf, with precious few foam darts left, so getting this to try was very well received by my boys, and even my teen had lots of fun with it.My son is 8 next month, so right at the bottom of the age range, and has absolutely no problem using this toy, and nor does my 6 year old. I found it was jamming way too often compared to other full-auto blasters – my thumb got very sore priming my Hammershot as I fiddled around trying to get it unjammed on numerous occasions. This is definitely better than I expected, and in part due to the 'trigger' nature of the acceleration button, rather than having an 'on/off' switch which kids especially never turn off with any level of urgency. Our existing Nerf is teensy in comparison, and the Elite Blaster was in demand when they saw how fast the darts are when the trigger is pressed. As part of Hasbro Toy Tribe, we’ve received a lovely new toy to try, the Nerf n Strike Elite Hyperfire Blaster, for ages 8-16.

When the trigger is pulled, the motorized conveyor belt spins and passes the darts to the flywheels, which fling them out. Unlike most flywheel blasters, it uses a conveyor system to feed darts into the flywheels, rather than a pusher mechanism. Just like other flywheel blasters, to fire, you spin up the flywheels, pull the trigger and away you go. I trust people will be able to solve their misplaced piece syndrome with the above catalog, and the full disassembly will help users to properly paint their blasters. Thanks to a battery-powered motordrive and a 25-shot drum magazine, it can spit out up to five foam darts per second. This Blaster does take 4 x D Cell batteries, which aren't cheap, but we haven't yet had to replace them, despite some daily use and a couple of drawn out battles. Without all of that nasty orange plastic in the way we can get a clear view of how the electrical system is layed out. I’m glad they ship it with a 25 short drum, as a blaster that can fire this fast needs all that and more…. It's the fastest motorized Nerf dart blaster, unleashing 5 darts per second to rain down a deluge of darts onto targets!

Blaster was abit dirty though, due to sticky fingers and pen marks but nothing that 20 minuets of scrubbing can solve. If you need some covering fire, this is a blaster that will spray a lot of foam, very quickly and with the rifling effect of spinning the dart as it fires, the accuracy is a step up too.It is thought to be a successor to the N-Strike Elite RapidStrike CS-18, given the similarities in fully-automatic firing and clip loading.
